Hit the road!
We're going to leave our urban life behind and hit the road soon, to learn more, meet people and get our hands dirty..
As a human being fascinated with how nature looks, smells, tastes, feels and works, I've always been trying to be close to my roots. But,
I met the term permaculture in August 2010, during a two week course with Emet De?irmenci & Augustin Sepulveda along with other permaculture and nature enthusiasts. However, everything started to make real sense after taking a PDC course with Geoff Lawton & Bill Mollison which took place in December 2010.
'Solutions to our problems are embarassingly simple.'
They really are.
So, after a few months, we decided to leave our urban jail behind and start a new life, a life on the road, to learn more, to experience what we learn, and to learn what other people experience. Me and my wife are going to hit the road in April, get our hands dirty where people need two other pair of dirty hands, as volunteers/employees. Starting in Türkiye, then moving on to other countries where we can afford to go and where we always wanted to go and see, for this purpose. We have a mission of learning as much as we can, in as many places as we can go, with meeting as many good-hearted people as we can; in order to be as equipped as possible to start a new page when we come back home.
Meanwhile, as a sound freak, I'll be collecting sounds from nature & culture so to satisfy my personal sonic needs, and hopefully to compile and share those with other enthusiasts later.
If anyone needs help as volunteers or have some jobs for us during the next couple of years, anywhere in the world (as far as we can afford travelling), then please let us know, so we can help start a new world for all of us.
I'll be updating soon..
Have a great life!
