Centre d'expérimentation et de formation, communauté d'experts, de formateurs et de participants oeuvrant dans le même idéal, l'Ecocentre du Bouchot est un lieu de découverte et de passage des savoirs autours l'écologie pratique et de la permaculture. 

Le fil directeur des formations et des stages est la recherche d’un mode de vie personnel et collectif en harmonie avec la nature.

A centre of experimentation and education, a community of experts, teachers and participants working towards the same ideal, Le Bouchot is a place of discovery and exchange of knowledge around practical ecology and permaculture.

Le Bouchot is an historical 3.5 hectare farm in the region of Sologne, less than 200 km from Île-de-France and Paris, and very near to Orélans and Salbris.

With the exception of the ‘Member’ who has never taken a PDC, all of the above can apply to become a PRI PDC Teacher. PRI PDC Teachers are those who the PRI recognise, through a vetting board, as determined and competent to teach the full 72-hour course as developed by Permaculture founder Bill Mollison – covering all the topics of The Designers’ Manual as well as possible (i.e. not cherry picking only aspects the teacher feels most interested or competent in). Such teachers also commit to focussing on the design science, and not including subjective spiritual/metaphysical elements. The reason these items are not included in the PDC curriculum is because they are “belief” based. Permaculture Design education concerns itself with teaching good design based on strategies and techniques which are scientifically provable.

PRI PDC Teachers may be given teaching and/or consultancy offerings as they become available as the network grows.
