About Keith Johnson
Raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Keith developed an early interest in horticulture when he learned at the age of 7 that he was related to Johnny Appleseed on his mother's side. Permaculture was, thus, inevitable. Today he works and lives with Peter Bane at their home in Bloomington Indiana. He is the webmaster (since '97) for the Permaculture Activist (the world's longest running permaculture periodical - http://permacultureactivist.net/), is on the editorial guild, and photographer. He also offers design and consulting services with Peter Bane through Patterns for Abundance.
