My partner and I relocated from the UK in 2007 and purchased a 30 acre parcel of land which is for the most part raw jungle, flood prone and swampland in parts.

We are converting about 5 acres of old milpa into a food forest and we plan to establish a permaculture educational resource.

Our aim is to develop local permaculture farm coops to replace old cattlle land. We are also keen to spearhead the development of a six mile long conservation corridor from our village through to Punta Gorda; the nearest town.
