About Maria Svennbeck
Even though I state that my hometown is Stockholm I have lived, studied and worked the last 25 years all around the world; in the USA, Europe and Asia mostly. Trained as a fashion designer that was also my main occupation and I have been self employed for the last 20 years.
A few years ago I decided I didn't want to be part of the whole consumerism industry anymore and I retrained as a small scale organic farmer/gardener.
I discovered permaculture and my life hasn't been the same since!
My current activities include teaching permaculture and urban food growing and I run a business designing edible gardens: www.holisticgardening.se
