About Alejandro Bustamante Hernandez

Researcher, designer and consultant in environmental integrated systems.
Since 2005, has been developed as a facilitator of courses and workshops on permaculture, family vegteble gardens , the regenerative development ... - His career includes 7 years of practical experience varied, which acquired working on projects and initiatives related to sustainability, in England, Australia and Mexico. These include participation in eco-construction projects, organic agriculture, ecological regeneration, community development, school vegetable gardens, among others. Also land designed for small and medium properties.

Across my travels and my experience of Mexico, I became concerned with the environmental issues that we face particularly that of the rapidly reducing resources available to people and the impact we are having on our planet. This led me to study organic agriculture in Mexico in 2005, during which I first became introduced to Permacuture which has literally changed my life.

My goal, since getting land in the Huatulco region of Oaxaca, has been to develop a self sustainable educational centre encorporating permaculture principles and local traditional knowledge.
