About elin lindhagen duby

I have travelled, lived and studied around the world, fueled by an incessant curiosity and fascination with this beautiful and incredibly complex world we live in. I have worked in various community development projects as a project manager, co-ordinator, facilitator and trainer and am interested in creative ways of educating that can facilitate the ability to join the dots, to see the patterns of the whole.

My interest in permaculture started when working
at Spitalfields City Farm in East London, UK where I was running an education project. It seemed to offer the framework of thought that I was looking for. From the Babylondon city farm my permaculture journey took me to Bahia,Brazil where I was part of setting up a permaculture farm, bought collectively by a group of friends in the UK. More info on Fazenda Puravida can be found here: www.puravidaonline.wordpress.com. I came back to England and did my PDC at Ragmans Lane in 2010. I then travelled to the IPC9 in Malawi and did my Teacher Training with Rosemary Morrow there. I have since been assisting permaculture courses, both in South Africa with Afristar Foundation, in the UK with Brighton Permaculture Trust and most recently here in Kenya with Warren Brush.

I am currently based in Kenya with my husband and in charge of running the Permaculture Research Institute of Kenya.
