About Benjamin Bowman
Ben is an arranger of spaces, passionate about imbuing homes and landscapes with striking beauty and radically efficient productivity. Permaculture Design Certified, he has experience with a variety of food production methods, from subsistence farming in Nicaragua, to organic, biodynamic farming in St.Louis. His house and yard are becoming a veritable playground of permaculture and are a proving ground all sorts of fun design features.
He was introduced to permaculture in 2009, while living in Louisville, KY. He was thrilled to finally take a PDC course at the Possibility Alliance in the summer of 2010.
In 2011 he co-founded and had a blast with the St. Louis based design group The Sun & The Soil.
Most of 2012 was spent as Permaculture Site Manager for Third Millennium Alliance in the Jama-Coaque Ecological Reserve of coastal Ecuador.
In 2013 he hopes to bicycle back to the United States.
