About Berber van Beek

Berber is born an raised on Curacao, Caribbean. Studied Photography, DTP, and course in graphic design in the Netherlands. Is moving around the globe for a couple of years now, by not living anywhere. Is involved with a project where they re-stored an old mine weever into a sailing boat(without engine) to transport cargo from A to B emission free. During the sail she volunteerd as a cook on board to cross the Atlantic and in the Caribbean. To transport cargo and delivering helping goods to Haiti. (www.zeilendehandelsvaart.nl).

In Holland she got involved with permaculture, this was in a small town in the North of Holland where she volunteerd in a permaculture-garden for 1.5 year. This is her solution! In what she was looking for since she was Young.

She decided to learn as much as possible, Got her PDC twice. On Mallorca and Trinidad. Where she volunteerd on a wonderful permaculture farm twice.
Her plans are now to do more studies in Australia, visit some farms, meet people, gather information, study etc... after this trip she wants to settle down on her island and start introducing permaculture on her island.
