I am a registered Architect and have studied Landscape Design at NSWU and Horticulture at Ryde Tafe
.
In June 2005 my wife and I completed the Introduction to Permaculture course at Ryde Tafe with Penny Pyett and both immediately completed a PDC with Penny, Janet Millington and Darren Doughty.

In November 2005 I completed a second PDC with Bill Mollison and Geoff Lawton at Melbourne University.

I joined Permaculture Sydney North and became a member of the management committee.

I have been active in Fund Raising and the Show Team, involved in the design, construction and manning of major permaculture displays, including Gardening Australia Expo and the Sydney Easter Show promoting permaculture to the public.

Since retiring from my architectural practice in 2006 I have been virtually full time permaculture practitioner with a particular interest in design for rural projects.

In 2008 I was a Co-Convenor of the Australian National Permaculture Convergence (APC9) in Sydney

I have permaculture teaching, by assisting at a number of PDCs, at this stage specialising in the site design and the practical issues of site construction.

I also have a passion for native forests and their management and completed a Master Tree Growers course which gave me expertise to extend my permaculture design services to incorporate on site forest resources.

In 2011 I completed a Cert IV TAE 40110 in Training and assessment

I am now on the Management Committee of the Permaculture Hunter Region.

I am also a PRI registered PDC teacher.
