About Emma Cowan
Since moving back home to NZ in 2010, I have been working with the Koanga Institute, a national seed saving organisation dedicated to saving the old food plants of Aotearoa.
I teach traditional food principles and sustainable, regenerative nutrition, and develop the educational and marketing material for the Institute... amongst many other things.
I am also a founding member of a village that is being developed on this land, near wairoa in NZ.
(www.communitylandtrusts.co.nz) This permaculture village works with a vision of regenerative land use to support a vibrant and resilient community, where we are able to provide our own shelter, food and local currency.
