About Anne Pelemis
I have a background in massage, photography, travel & marketing.
In 2009 I gave up my career and job and moved with my husband and mother to 2.5 acres just outside of Melbourne, with a view to getting out of the rat race and living a more peaceful and sustainable lifestyle.
Since making the move we have learnt how to grow veges organically (and share them with the chickens and cockatoos), we have dabbled in biodynamic sprays & composting and I have completed a PDC.
Currently I am volunteering at a community garden project in Mount Martha to help set up a heritage fruit tree orchard and vegetable garden, which has been fantastic for practical knowledge gain. I am also working as an ongoing consultant for a community market garden farm outside of Deans Marsh. Plus I get down and muddy by working on our own property.
In the next year I look forward to gaining more skills and I eventually hope to get a Diploma of Permaculture at Eltham College.
