About Kira Sawatzky
I grew up in Millarville, AB where the forest is lush and the land abundant. Surrounded by wildlife I came to have a deep appreciation for the earth we live on.
I became interested in permaculture through my brother and took my PDC with Verge Permaculture in 2010. Since then I've been devoted to making my surroundings more abundant using the knowledge I've gained so far, and trying to lead by example.
I haven't fully surrounded myself with permaculture yet (other than the course and farm work) and need to gain more experience! I'd like to help with consultancies and permablitzes this summer, so please send work my way!
Eventually I want to teach permaculture in a way that integrates the performing arts such as music and theatre! The theatre and production company OPA brazil is very inspiring to me.
