The Permaculture Research Institute of Australia

Some time during 2010 I was researching sustainable housing, when I stumbled over a concept called permaculture. I was sold right away not only by Geoff Lawtons enthusiams but also by the concept of permaculture itself. I really believe that a majority of the worlds problems can be solved in a garden.

While permaculture has become one of my biggest interests I have an equal interest in natural building techniques. It started with dreaming about building a rustic timber cabin in the wilderness, and progressed with discovering that you could build with all kind of natural materials. I´ve learned about building strawbale houses, earthbag domes, cob cottages, earthships, and it´s not hard to see the immense possibilities of these building techniques.

I'm currently taking the online PDC with Geoff.
