About Cristy Abbott
I did my Permaculture Design Course in Gainsville, FL with Patricia Allison and Bob Burns, Nov 2009 at Ryan's Shambhala!!
There were about 16 of us discovering the natural patterns of our planet.
I am absolutley obsessed with the beauty and art of these blessed principals.
I was part of a group of 4 that began to study Toby Hemenway's, "Gaia's Garden" in April 2010. We quickly grew to 70, now we have over 350 members on our Meetup.com/the st petersburg permaculture guild website.
This year we began a Transition St Pete study group and over 90 folks cumulatively have been to the 5 sessions so far..
St Petersburg, FL is on fire for Permaculture. We work together on permablitz's in our yard's, community gardens and educating the curious.
I love gathering people to create local projects that impact our community and the people who love to share thier talent and time.
Oh yeah, we have a time bank as well, growing like a weed....
