About Steve Jones
I was born on a Shropshire fam and studied sustainable development to degree level at Reading University. I have project experience in India and Zimbabwe as well as Wales and England. I have just delivered my first PDC abroad, at Qunita Cabeca do Mato, Portugal.
I first studied permaculture design at Fambidzanai in Harare, Zimbabwe in 1991 and completed a full design course at Centre for Alternative Technology, Machynlleth, Powys, Wales.
I have worked at CAT, for the Permaculture association of Britain and for Reading International Solidarity Centre.
I am a permaculture teacher, and I work developing a community garden and with local schools and farms. I am widely experienced with key experience in education and in forest garden design and development.
I also have a long standing involvement with housing co-operatives and have been involved with starting 2 housing coops, based on permaculture design principles.
I am currently working on my 15th PDC and planning the 16th and 17th.
