About Sharon Dismore
Completed my 72hr PDC in Feb 2009 while travelling in Ethiopia - since then i have been volunteering full time at PC projects in various intentional communities. While PC gives the practical design tools and elements that i wish to create in my life i feel that communities give the play ground to launch them from - place to work on the collective imagination, to pool resources and energy where sharing and co-operation can expand the boundaries to give unlimited yield.
I have recently completed the Ecovillage Training at Findhorn Community Scotland (1 month) and taken a 1 week Strawbale Building course and 1 week Permaculture Educators and Transition Town training. In April 2011 i travelled to Damunhur, Italy where i took a 1 month course in Ecovillage Design through GAIA education.
On return from Damunhur i took a 6 month volunteer placement at Landmatters Permaculture Cooperative in Devon, working the gardens within the community. This has evolved and in October i begin a 6 month trial membership at the community! Am excited - slightly nervous but very keen to explore this new realm :-)
