About Monika Frank

background of landscape architect, nature lover, traveller and tour guide. diploma holder since 2008, active permaculture teacher since 2009 but involved in pc personally since 1993.
It just had to be. My favourite definition is (by David Holmgren - I heard): "it is just common sense but not very common."
since 2009 part of the inner circle of german Permakultur Akademie which is rapidly growing. Still in close touch with the german network, but living in the beautiful Ariège next to the Pyrenees now and hope to get some permaculture going with the French! I am now member of the (still small) french teaching/tutoring team within the Université Populaire de Permaculture (www.permaculturefrance.com).
I am also involved with an aid-project on Rusinga Island/Lake Victoria/Kenya. great opportunity for pc students. see: www.soned.de (in german only, sorry..), look out for the "little stars".
I would like to get in touch with people having permaculture teaching experience in africa to organise a course there in 2013.
