About Daniel Parra Hensel

Daniel Parra Hensel is a native to Santa Barbara, California. Raised with a diverse group of four parents and six brothers and sisters whose backgrounds range from Colombia, California, Spain and Argentina. Daniel has had the privilege to travel and see the world from a very young age, living in both Spain and Argentina. Born speaking Spanish and English at home with a multi-cultural household he loves to interact with and learn from people from all cultures.

Daniel’s on-going relationship with Quail Springs Permaculture has brought him the opportunity to assist in many of their programs; the three-month applied farm internship, Permaculture Design Certification courses, international development and education projects in Kenya and Uganda, their highly successful Sustainable Vocations for Young People courses and the current 3 month farm apprenticeship.

Daniel is a graduate of the world-renowned 10-week internship offered by the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia taught by Geoff and Nadia Lawton. He now is a full time consultant, designer and educator worldwide.

Daniel is very excited and grateful to be an active participant in the global Permaculture movement and looks forward to inoculating the world around him, the future relationships created through permacultural work and a bright diverse future.
